
Keane have revealed their new album will be a slap in the face to established practices of cool, with the three-piece hoping to push the boundaries of 'music etiquette',
The follow-up to their 2006 release 'Under The Iron Sea' will be produced by Madonna collaborator Stuart Price for an anticipated late 2008 release.
"We've agreed that the more tasteless and uncool we make our music, the better," lead songwriter Tim Rice-Oxley reveals to the Daily Star. "Only when you lose the fear of breaking the unwritten rules of music etiquette can you make a really great album.
"One of the new songs sounds like 'Magic Dance' from the Labyrinth soundtrack."
