The Game is out of jail after serving just eight days of a two-month sentence.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's office confirmed yesterday to Associated Press that the rap star had been released on March 9th just before midnight.
The Game, 28-year-old Jayceon Terrell Taylor, was convicted last month over charges of possessing a firearm in a school zone, which stem from an incident on February 24, 2007 in South Los Angeles when a scuffle escalated by Taylor retrieving a gun from his Cadillac Escalade and threatening to shoot him.
Two other felony charges, making criminal threats and exhibiting a firearm in the presence of a peace officer, were dropped as part of the plea bargin, which allowed him to avoid a possible five-year term, and instead sees the urban musician serving just eight days in jail, with 150 hours of community service and three years on probation.
