Kid Rock signs up for Download 2008
More bands confirmed for this summer's rock fest
Kid Rock Kid Rock will make his first ever appearance at this year's Download Festival.

The American rap rock star will be promoting his latest album 'Rock N Roll Genius' with a main stage appearance at the huge hard rock festival, behind headliners KISS, Lostprophets and Judas Priest.

Bleeding through will return to the Donington stage this year for the first time since 2006, as will Throwdown, while punk pop act The Subways will bring a lighter touch to proceedings. THe other band confirmed today are metal outfit The Black Dahlia Murder.

This years event will once again be held at Donington Park in the Midlands and also features Incubus, H.I.M, Disturbed and Motorhead on the bill.
