Muse will take to the stage at the Royal Albert Hall in April for the first confirmed Teenage Cancer Trust show of 2008, it has been revealed.
The band will play the landmark venue as part of a week-long series of events held each year to support the children's cancer charity, organised by Roger Daltrey.
Frontman Matt Bellamy revealed the news when discussing his band's live schedule for 2008, which he says is going to be relaxing. Bellamy explained: "We've been having a break for the last few months and I think this year is gonna be very relaxed.
"We're going to do a couple of gigs here and there, but we're not gonna tour. But we are doing a couple of one-offs. For example, we're doing the Albert Hall Teenage Cancer Trust show in April, then we'll do the V Festival and a couple of other sort of 'holiday gigs'."
The full-line up for this year's Teenage Cancer Trust is due to be unveiled later this month.
