REM have joined Kings of Leon at the top of the bill for this year's Oxegen Festival in Ireland, Sound Generator can report.
Taking place over three days this year for the first time, the festival will be held between Friday July 11 and Sunday July 13 at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, County Kildare will gain a Friday night for the first time.
Fans were asked to vote for the first time ever this year as to which band's they'd like to see headline the huge event, with both U.S. bands rating high in the polls.
Tickets will be available for pre-sale from 8am on March 3 until 8pm on March 6 and will be limited to four per person. After that they go on general sale from 8am on March 7.
