Fatboy Slim will head up this year's Wireless Festival bill, after the first major artists were unveiled in London today.
The superstar DJ will play on the same bill as Underworld and Bootsy Collins for a dance/funk led day on Saturday July 5th.
Norman Cook told press, "For a long while I've wanted to play outdoors in London, but I just couldn't find a beach! Hopefully we can bring some of the spirit of the Brighton shows into the heart of London town."
O2 Wireless Festival returns for its fourth year in the London’s Hyde Park, once again held over four days, and now with four stages of music every day.
Steve Homer, the VP of Music for festival organiser Live Nation added, "We're in the fourth year of the O2 Wireless Festival in Hyde Park now, and we've seen great performances on the various stages from the likes of the Kaiser Chiefs, Flaming Lips, Daft Punk, White Stripes, The Klaxons, Depeche Mode, LCD Soundsystem and Basement Jaxx. We're delighted that this year Fatboy Slim is headlining the Saturday night of our O2 Wireless Festival on July 5th. Norman will be bringing his beach party to the park for this great Saturday night out. We'll be announcing the other three headliners in the coming weeks so watch this space....."
