Jack Johnson's fifth studio album 'Sleep Through The Static' has ousted 19-year-old soul newcomer Adele off the top of the UK album charts after just a week at No. 1.
Adele's '19' falls to two this week, ahead of Nickelback's 'All The Right Reasons' at three. Another new entry at four saw Hot Chip's 'Made In The Dark' chart strongly, while Mary J Blige's 'Growing Pains' came in at this week's sixth position.
Swedish dance act Basshunter remain top of the singles TOp 40 this week with 'Now You're Gone', with Nickelback's 'Rockstar' creeping up one place to two. Adele's 'Chasing Pavements' moves the other way into No. 3, while Rihanna's 'Stop The Music' and David Jordan's 'Sun Goes Down' complete the top five.
Wet Wet Wet's "Weightless" was the only new entry in the top 10 of the singles chart, at 10.
