Basshunter's 'Now You're Gone' held off Adele's 'Chasing Pavements' for a second week, although the female singer/songwriter's debut album is tipped to crash into the top spot on the albums chart this week.
At three was Nickelback's 'Now You're Gone', Rihanna's 'Don't Stop The Music' held the No. 4 spot while Lupe Fiasco's 'Superstar' rounded off the top five. Britney Spears' 'Piece Of Me' fell to six while Kelly Rowland's 'Work' was the biggest riser, up 31-7.
Scouting For Girls' 'Elvis Ain't Dead' was this week's eighth placed single and their self-titled debut album remained at the top of the album charts despite a strong challenge from Robert Plant & Alison Krauss' well-received collaborative album 'Raising Sand'.
Amy Macdonald's 'This Is The Life', Newton Faulkner's 'Hand Build By Robots' and Hoosiers' 'The Trick To Life' round out the top five this week, with Lupe Fiasco's 'Lupe Fiasco's The Cool' charting at No. 7.
