Speculation has begun over the identity of this year's headline acts for the Reading and Leeds Festivals, after it was revealed that there will be three American bands heading up the festival this year.
Festival boss Melvin Benn confirmed to the BBC that this year's headline acts were' in place', before letting slip that all three of the main stage acts were from the U.S.
"Interesting this year is that, probably for the first time, in my memory, we're actually going with three American headliners," he said.
The names are likely to be revealed in March when tickets go on sale, and names put forward for this year range from Rage Against the Machine, Green Day and Metallica to Snoop Dogg, R.E.M and possibly Aerosmith.
Benn also confirmed that the Reading and Leeds festivals would continue with their traditional title now that the deal with long-term sponsor Carling had expired.
"I wanted it to be, as I'm sure fans wanted it to be, slightly less corporate," Mr Benn added. "I wanted to reclaim the name Reading Festival and the name Leeds Festival. I wanted them to return to their roots, so to speak. I didn't want the events to be called after a sponsor. I'm not asking another sponsor to come in."
