Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood is on the road to recovery after a heria operation last week.
The 60-year-old got the injury last year at some stage during the band's 'Bigger Bang' world tour, and doctors have ordered the star to take an extended period of time off, something his spokesperson doubts will happen.
"He doesn't know exactly the moment it happened, just that it happened while he was on tour and that it got progressively more uncomfortable," his spokesperson reveals.
"He waited until after Christmas to have the operation last week and is now resting. He's meant to be taking two months off but, knowing Ronnie, he'll be back on his feet sooner rather than later."
