Bjork has reportedly been accused of assaulting a photographer less than an hour after touching down in New Zealand yesterday.
THe Icelandic star could see charges filed against her after allegedly tearing the shirt off the back of a paparazzo who took photographs of her leaving Auckland International Airport yesterday morning (Jan 13).
Working for the New Zealand Herald, Glenn Jeffrey said the 42-year-old's behaviour shocked him. He says, " I took a couple of pictures... and as I turned and walked away, she came up behind me, grabbed the back of my black skivvy (long t-shirt) and tore it down the back.
"As she did this she fell to the ground. At no stage did I touch her or speak with her. "
Police are now said to be examining CCTV footage from the airport. "If anybody assaults anybody you have the right to a legal recourse, whoever they are, adds Jeffrey.
"I don't see being assaulted as I'm working as a press photographer as an acceptable thing."
