Portishead have confirmed the release of their new studio album for March 2008, Sound Generator can report.
Coming ten years after the release of their groundbreaking self-titled second LP, the three-piece of Geoff Barrow, Beth Gibbons and Adrian Utley have confirmed the as-yet-untitled set will hit record shops across the UK on March 31. The set is expected to be released through Island Records.
Their next live date comes when they curate the All Tomorrows Parties' Nightmare Before Christmas festival next month from Dec. 7-8. The Horrors, GZA and Aphex Twin are also playing.
