Lily Allen became so drunk at this week's star-studded GQ Men of the Year Awards that she was asked to leave the party.
The annual bash on Tuesday night saw stars of the calibre of Jude Law, Orlando Bloom, Madonna, Sir Elton John and supermodel Elle Macpherson amongst the invited guests. However, it didn't stop the songstress from hitting the bar early and it seemingly descended from there. According to a guest at the event, the trouble began when Madonna took to the stage to present the inspiration of the year award, all the while with Allen rambling loudly at her table.
Lily was being rude and loud, she was chatting all the way through and it was painfully obvious," the guest reveals. 'At first nobody noticed but then it was evident what she was doing – even Madge gave her a look.'
Later in the night she allegedly tripped over her full-length strapless red dress while heading to the bathroom, before being asked to leave the event. Another onlooker adds: "Lily was drunk and wasn't quite aware of what she was doing. It was felt best that she left there before any real trouble started."
