Snow Patrol's Tom Simpson failed to make his court appointed hearing deadline today over charges of cocaine possession, it has been reported.
The 35-year-old, along with co-accused Colin Kennedy, are accused of possessing the class-A drug on June 24th 2006 in Glasgow, but case at Glasgow Sheriff Court has been carried over for hearing until August 28th after a request from Simpson's lawyer.
It is thought that Simpson's current U.S. tour, which is followed by European festival dates and a slot at the V Festival in late August, was to blame. The band also recently performed at the Live Earth concert in London and the T In The Park festival.
