We've teamed up with award winning music video producers Partizan to bring you news, interviews and more...

As part of our relaunch, Sound Generator is pleased to announce a series of special features with Partizan, one of the world's leading Music Video, Commercials and Film Production companies. As a multi-award winning company, Partizan have enjoyed huge success on an international stage, and have offices in London, Paris, New York and Los Angeles.
Looking to broaden our coverage of the music industry, Sound Generator will be bringing to readers accounts from the frontlines of Music Video Production; in-depth interviews with Partizan film-makers, exclusive set visits and personal accounts, from an international director stable that includes Ben & Greg, Ollie Evans, Rozan & Schmeltz, Ace Norton, Saam, Kinga Burza, Nima Nourizadeh and many more.
The first of the features is an exclusive blog written by Nima Nourizadeh. Nima writes for us while returning from a shoot in Paris for Yelle, and has worked with Jamie T, Maximo Park and Sophie Ellis-Bextor in this year alone. He also directed Lily Allen's 'LDN' and 'Littlest Things' videos, and the award winning 'Over and Over' for Hot Chip. 'Oh My God' is his latest video, the Kaiser Chiefs cover version by Mark Ronson which features the vocals of Lily Allen in animated form.
Our second piece is an exclusive visit to the set of Calvin Harris' latest video, where we talk to young director Kinga Burza about life as a director, working with Kate Nash and her future plans. Kinga has directed nine videos for Partizan, including both 'Caroline is a Victim' and 'Foundations' for Nash, as well as 'Homecoming' for The Teenagers and 'Sing Songs Along' for Tilly and the Wall.
The next piece comes courtesy of directors Ben & Greg, who have shot to promience in under a year with videos for The Streets, Get Cape, Wear cape, Fly, the Holloways and Oasis. They bring us an exclusive Director's Commentary for their latest video - 'Late Night Session' by the ever eclectic Ali Love.
Our latest feature is a front-line report from Grace Bodie, prducer of the latest Rozan & Schmeltz video for Hard-Fi's "Can't Get Along (Without You)". She also gives us an exclusive gallery from the stunt laden shoot in Berlin.
