Re-release of last years 'Fires' album, this time expected to sell a lot more.

Repackaged and remastered, this hidden gem from last year is well worth a re-release. Bought about by the same record label which found massive success with Damien Rice, this could very well go the same way in terms of success. Album opener "Damascus" (a former single) demonstrates Pallot's amazing vocal ability, from growling alto to wistful soprano. This is closely followed by "Sophia", a beautifully stark track with just piano and the vocal range of Pallot.

The album really kicks in with the reworked "Idaho" - complete with complex string arrangement and the soaring chorus associated with "Geek Love". The forthcoming single "Everybody's Gone to War" highlights the exceptional gift that Pallot has with her vocals and lyrics. Destined to be an album of the year in many people’s eyes, this is a welcome re-release.
