M83 - Don't Save Us From The Flames
This single, from the now one-man-band M83's latest album 'Before the Dawn Heals Us'‚ is underpinned by almost obnoxious 80's soft rock drum beats.

You should hate this track for all its French coffee house pretentiousness and grandiose soundscape ambitions. However, you can't. The uplifting anthemic guitar and synth sound evoke images of a breathy utopia. Ostentatious melodrama never sounded so good.
