Deftones are exactly that - a band that flows with pure originality and their return in a world of Strokes poster boys is a moment to behold. 'Minerva' follows the blueprint of 2001's Grammy winning 'White Pony' fairly closely with its massive ebbs of dynamic and huge chorus. The new album should be another modern masterpiece then.
