Female fronted rock band... bringing back the big noize! My Otherside sprung to life in 2006 during a flurry of musicians and ideas. Eventually after a while and some serious thought Esther, Phil, Dale and rick realised that they had found themselves connected in an exciting musical way! From this point on a growing need for the band to expand and develop has driven them to write some amazing new music!! The band decided at the very beginning that they never wanted to be second rate imitators, regurgitating the work of others, so there combined goal has been to draw on a wide variety of influences ranging from Phil's love of 'Martin Taylor' and 'tool' to Dale's love of 'Dave Matthews' and 'incubus' this has helped to give them a new edge which many have found difficult to pigeon hole to the bands delight. With the recent recording and promotion of their demo at the well noted Newcastle studio Trinity Heights the band has been inundated with regional gigs and is now planning a move further a field to broaden their gigging catalogue.
