Coooooooooool!
My Endeavour
"Alternative / Hard Rock From The South Coast !"
‘My Endeavour’ are a 4 piece ‘alternative’ / hard rock’ band from the south coast of England U.K.

With a shared passion for a great melody and tight musicianship they have become known for their powerful and emotive rock tracks comprised of killer riffs, huge power chords and infectious choruses that once heard will never let you go.

They describe their musical style as "’'Nickelback’ crossed with ‘Staind‘ with a hint of ‘Metallica’” whilst maintaining an original sound unique to them.

The bands front man ‘Tim Seymour’ (drummer turned singer/guitarist) sums up the journey so far:
“We’ve all walked very different paths to get here and have had to overcome many personal obstacles. Through focus and dedication it’s only now at this moment that everything feels right and all the hard work is finally starting to pay off”.

With a growing worldwide fan base after the release of their 2007 self titled debut EP and with follow up tracks released throughout 2008 this "rare rock partnership" of 'melodic and heavy rock is set to take My Endeavour all the way to the top.

The band have pledged:
“We’re working hard on producing a great catalogue of songs and a memorable live show in order to provide the best musical experience we can possibly offer as repayment for your support and we will never take for granted the loyalty of our fans.”

In 2007 their slow and melodic rock song 'Disappear' which encompasses themes of ‘letting go of your inner fears’ received 2nd place in the international song writing competition run by songprize.com.
Within the same year 'Losing Sight' an up tempo riff driven heavier track about ‘self discovery’ topped the soundclick.com charts.

Tim speaks about his lyrics:
“I mainly write (though not always intentionally) from the heart about personal themes. I feel that my experiences are universal and transcend well through our music to the audience”.

It was the fusion between Tim and the bands lead guitarist ‘Mark Linkhorn’ that really kick started the band.
Mark’s ability to write killer riffs and solo’s paired with Tim’s rhythmical style echoed throughout their debut EP which was a unique blending of tender acoustic moments exploding into powerful over-driven guitars.

Fast becoming a fan favourite ‘The Fallen’ is the perfect melding of the 2 styles starting with an acoustic arpeggio, slowly building to an unforgettable crescendo of heavy guitars and thundering drums. A hard hitting emotional track, the song pays homage to all those that have lost their lives fighting for our freedom.

They have since moved into the ‘hard rock / metal’ arena for their later releases in 2008, no more so than in ‘Left For Dead’ a dark and brooding ‘heavy metal’ track with shredding riffs and full bodied power chords touching on themes of ‘endless struggle’ and ‘never giving up’.
Paired with ‘Choices Made’ another hard rock track personal to Tim about ‘living through the choices that we make, through the bad to the good’, these two tracks marked the beginning of a new direction for the band.

Not forgetting about good old fashioned 'rock', much like its title, ‘What You See Is What You Get’ makes no excuses and feels more akin to ‘80’s rock’ with melodic chord progressions and great solo work. The lyrics hit home about ‘staying true to yourself’.

After the amicable parting of Lewis Fuller and Darren Fisher, ‘Daniel Sheikhian (Shakey)’ on drums and ‘Leon Willoughby’ on bass have helped elevate the band to the next level.

The journey continues and in 2009 My Endeavour have secured some high profile support slots with ‘Blaze Bayley’ and ‘Logan’ and are set to hit the studio in late 2009 to record their debut album.

The band state:
“Feel free to drop by our website and leave a message anytime. We value all your feedback, without it we cannot grow as artists. Enjoy the music !.”
