It takes a lot of gumption to be proudly pop and to play somewhere like the Vibe Bar on Brick Lane.

Yet that’s exactly what Foxtrot Bravo are doing. And speaking of pop, they did just return from recording an EP in Sweden, so we’ve been trying very hard to resist any ABBA comparisons. Oh, that’s torn it.

Perhaps we’re being a little unfair to the band. The ice-cold Scandinavian atmosphere does tend to permeate their songs nicely, particularly the track ‘Jaguar’. As to what they’re like when they step on stage? Is this going to be a karaoke moment or something a little bit cooler? Best go down to Vibe Bar on 21 June to find out.
