What’s your favourite London music venue?
The O2 Arena, what a venue! Atmosphere makes you completely forget about the Millennium Dome.
What’s the best gig you’ve ever seen?
Muse. Is there anything better than watching that guy attacking that guitar. Your hands just seem stuck in the air as they rock your world.
What was the worst gig you’ve ever seen?
Probably a tribute band to the Darkness. They performed up here in Lancaster [at university] and it was pretty awful. Is there any sound worse than the screech as a shaggy old man tries to hit that top note? I tell you what, I don’t believe in that thing called love any more
What was the last gig you went to?
Nizlopi performed at Lancaster last year, which was not as bad as it sounds. They made such an effort but the students ruined it a bit by yelling “One hit wonder!”
What was the first gig you ever went to?
D12 performed with Eminem was the first. It was not as much fun as it could have been. We were pretty high up and I was too young to drink. It’s a shame because the tunes were quality.
Which band from throughout history would you have liked to see?
It would have to be the Rolling Stones. The classic, insane and brilliant rock ‘n’ rollers. Seeing Keith Richards and Mick Jagger in their prime rather than the skeleton zombies they have become, would be brilliant. On the other hand I have a similar feeling about Michael Jackson who is a close second.
