Try Before You Buy - Zerostar
London band Zerostar claim to make ‘massively uplifting rock anthems’, and take their cue from big, grandiose stadium rock bands who like to tug at the heartstrings and enjoy a long and spectacular guitar solos. Good on ‘em, we say.

Zerostar actually take on board ingredients from Jane’s Addiction, Britpop and even the questionable catchiness of Kaiser Chiefs.
The quintet are fronted by the excellently named Bentley Browning and also benefit from the charisma of Zoe the keyboardist. XFM and BBC 6 Music are fans, as is Grant Nicholas from Feeder, who saw the band at the Dublin Castle in Camden and waxed lyrical about their ‘damn catchy songs’.
Their first single, ‘A Rock Star Saved My Life’, received radio airplay here and there, and their second ‘Hallelujah Baby’ managed to get MTV involved…
