Secret Machines formed in Dallas in 2000 out of the noise-rock scene there, but had to wait until 2004, and a move to the Big Apple, before releasing debut LP Now Here Is Nowhere.
The band is now made up of Brandon Curtis, Josh Garza and Phil Karnats after fellow founding member and brother of Brandon, Benjamin Curtis, left to form School of Seven Bells.
