Fancy an early night? A couple of hours of Oldboy Slim and thence to cocoa and slippers? Then Brighton could be just the place for you this month... Sounds pretty good to us, actually.

Brighton, the ongoing Mecca for one-day festivals, hosts Big Beach Boutique for the fourth time following the success of the colossal New Year's Eve bash.
Curated and organised by Fatboy Slim (pictured), the event (if it can hold off all the nastiness that has blighted certain Brighton one-dayers in the past) offers a startling array of dance, hip-hop, rock and pop. The party takes place on Madeira Drive and will play host to no less than 20,000 fans.
They have gone all out to please the locals this year; not only does the event begin at 3:30 pm to be over by 9:30pm, but local residents were given first option on tickets.
As far as the talent goes, Fatboy Slim predictably takes the headline slot at 8pm, but arguably the most impressive feats of the day will come from Britain's second best beatboxer Beardyman (who himself must admit that Shlomo remains untouchable).
