All-round entertainers...

The Rileys are a band who have been a regular part of the London live scene for over a year now thanks to the youthful songwriting pair of Dave Giles and Joe Fielder, and signed to Cheeky Chimp Records are no wide-eyed amateurs when it comes to performing or recording.
Perhaps this is because of the interesting attitude to their craft, as Giles explains: “We’re not part of the music industry. We’re in the entertainment business, but music is our medium of choice.” They’re, like, ‘all round entertainers’ to coin a phrase from a certain excruciating Ricky Gervais comedy.
The Rileys come from Essex and base themselves on the inspiration gleaned from seeing Red Hot Chilli Peppers at V Festival in 2001. Their self-titled debut EP has found friends at XFM, while they have supported Sketchbeat and Soprano and are set to play Bush Hall later in the summer.
