I reckon Kate Nash is going to fail on her next album. I reckon the first album had some good songs on it but she is a limited performer and wont last the course. has she got any defenders?
Kate Nash
"Piano, acoustic and electric guitars, percussion and synth, drums and tambourine"
Kate's debut was a double-A side single released through independent record label Moshi Moshi in February 2007. The A-side, Caroline's A Victim, is a synth-fuelled song about Kate's friend Caroline. A video for the song was also released and received notable airplay on MTV2. The video, directed by Kinga Burza, featured Kate playing a variety of instruments whilst "Caroline" sits in her room "playing killer beats", taking photographs, trying on different outfits and sitting at her computer checking a site that looks remarkably similar to MySpace. The B-side to the single was Birds, an acoustic number that tells the story of a boy's inept attempts to try and explain to his girlfriend how he feels about her, all the while the girl remains despondent about the situation.During the promotion for Caroline's A Victim/Birds, Kate supported Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. on their national tour shortly before embarking on her own headlining tour which took her around the UK.In March 2007, Kate was signed to the Polydor off-shoot Fiction Records, a label which holds acts such as Snow Patrol and The Maccabees.Kate is due to release her next single 'Foundations' during Summer 2007 followed by a currently untitled debut album.
