Releasing her self-produced debut album 'Holding Up The Sky' in 2007 on her own label, on which she also performed most of the instruments, Juliana Meyer’s trademark Symphonic Acoustic Pop has been gaining popularity from loyal music fans around the world.
Well received, the success of the album led to an invitation to perform at the BBC Gala Show for BBC1’s Children In Need, where she performed alongside music legends, as well as performances at Glastonbury Festival, the Houses of Parliament, and headlining The Barn Stage at Beach Break Live Festival.
She recently won Best Female at the EMAE Awards, and was nominated for Best Pop. She was also nominated as Best Solo Artist and Best Original Act in the TopOfTheOx Awards and her album 'Holding Up The Sky' was chosen by Music-News.com as one of their 'Best Albums of 2008' (two places ahead of Oasis and two behind Take That).
Her musical journey has been diverse, from performances for The Queen on her Jubilee Tour, to singing at a 20 000 strong peace rally in the ‘New South Africa’, to performances on BBC Radio, to commissions for award-winning plays and documentaries.
Beginning to attract attention from the industry, her loyal fans and our ever changing world remain the inspiration to her prolific songwriting and she is currently in preparations to record her next studio album.
