Judas Priest are one of the most influential heavy metal bands ever to come out of the British Isles. Still, gigging to this day, they formed in 1970 in Birmingham and since then, they have recorded 16 studio albums with 1980s 'British Steel' charting highest at number 4 in the UK charts. They also enjoyed success in the US with 6 of their albums going gold, 3 going platinum and 1982's 'Screaming for Vengeance' going double platinum. The band's current touring line-up is Rob Halford, Glenn Tipton, K. K. Downing, Ian Hill and Scott Travis.
