Born and raised in South London, Jason has always had a huge passion for music having grown up to the sounds of prestigious acts like Queen, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Janet Jackson and many more.

Jason has always had a huge interest in pop music specifically renowned performers. Since a young age he has been actively performing having started off at stage school and later moving on to study for two years at The BRIT School.

Whilst at The BRIT School Jason actually studied theatre, although he wanted to pursue music, Jason had lost a lot of confidence when his voice broke, so he concentrated on developing himself as a performer whilst maintaining singing lessons on the side. Jason left The Brit school and went on to spend three years at Leeds University training as an actor. Pretty soon into his time at Leeds the young performer knew theatre was not for him, Jason was living and breathing music whilst working intensively on his dance training and it was very clear to him where his true passion lies.

Jason has spent time and money developing himself as a songwriter/dancer and as a recording artist ensuring that he constantly challenges his writing and vocal capabilities in and out of the studio.

All this has then led Jason to where he is now, with the artists fresh and innovative debut E.P ‘Release Me’. The mini album depicts feelings and emotions of confinement within both romantic and social environments. This young man has a clear identity of who he is displaying something that the world has never seen by a male artist.

In describing the E.P Jason say’s :
“The E.P is extremely personal to me. I have aimed to create catchy pop music with a perspective, something to say that my audience can relate to. To me, my music is Art; realistic art with commercial appeal. I love performing each of the songs on my E.P as each one is a personal reflection of my experiences. I find it absolutely thrilling to be able to bring my songs to life on the stage. I believe in myself and the music I create and I don’t intend to stop pursuing my goal until my voice is heard.”
