Following the recent release of Indigo Joe's debut EP 'Stargaze', life has started to get pretty interesting for the this London based band. A couple of years ago, having met playing on the blues scene, James, Carl, Evan and Jonny recorded a demo of some songs with a more contemporary feel. Although it was just for fun there was an obvious chemistry between them and two years later like an itch that had to be scratched they decided the time had come to get serious and make something of it. With a now revised songbook drawing on influences from blues to U2 via Radiohead the band booked studio time and in late 2005 and started to record. Pleased with the results it was decided a 5 track EP should be released. From the hauntingly melodic opener, Novacaine Sweetheart, to the sing-a-long of Eyewitness to close you are taken towards both the light and the dark side that is Stargaze.
