Imajim are steadily making a name for themselves in London as an outstanding live act that has to be experienced. Charismatic front man singer/songwriter Jim Connelly has been likened to a British Jim Morrison, and he tickles his semi-acoustic like a flamenco guitarist without the shiny trousers. But don't be fooled by the acoustic guitar and dark, melancholic tunes - they have their pin-drop moments, but this band is no stroll in the park.
They have been described as Radiohead meets Queens of the Stone Age - think quirky, alternative rock with a mediterranean flavour, three part vocal harmonies and a pounding rhythm section.
