studio daze

Three days in to a recording session with Sam Williams at his studio Templesounds in Oxford, edging closer to finishing the album.
Yesterday was quite challenge getting a Chet Atkins style guitar part down...just when you think you've got it nailed...! Or just when you thought "I'll get this in one take' not! My perception of my own playing got turned on its head. But we got it down. The vocal was a breeze on that track- it's called 'headed where you're bound' finger picked guitar, electro bleeps, a break beat and a sweet vocal.
Anyway time to get back on it...
