These past weeks I've been getting three more tracks ready to go back in the studio with Sam Williams. I'm living in the attic of a converted church at the moment so most of my time is spent up there (up here-it's where I am right now) writing, playing and programming.
I did manage to drag myself out though and caught The Noisettes playing at the O2 in Oxford. Great show and absolutely rammed. Shingai is a glam pop punk soul diva- what an amazing performer. Very inspiring. They've spent the past six years gigging solidly promoting their records- it's paid off. So great to see hard working musicians rewarded.
Meanwhile it's back to my recently acquired microKorg XL. I got it mainly for the vocoder plus I love its retro look. It's also very portable and can run on batteries-fab!
