Biography
Famous Jack is a brand new band created by 28 year-old British artist, composer and musician Anthony Castells (aka. Famous Jack).
Whereas Famous Jack only descended onto Anthony's body in October 2009, Anthony is an award-winning composer who started his first band at the age of 12 and that is currently selling his music to over 15 different countries around the world under different names. Famous Jack brings to light Anthony's more fun-loving and self-absorbed side, who normally lies hidden behind a more spiritual, isolated and tortured self. Famous Jack feeds from varied sources such as Bob Dylan, Yeasayer, Joy Division, MGMT, David Bowie, Hockey, Hot Chip, Lady Gaga, Natasha Khan, Coco Sumner and Julio Iglesias.
Famous Jack has started touring London's gig circuit and has already booked performances until March 2010. A self-released debut EP is due early 2010.
