Formed in April 2008, Excellent Cadaver are a metal act from Dundee, Scotland.
They take a no holds barred approach, and don't mess around with being pigeon-holed into sub-genres, they are just metal, for people who just like metal.
The band first started to play live shows in and around Dundee in August of that year, and by 2nd of December, were supporting metal titans Trivium at their Dundee show. The band were also crowned champions of the 2008 RedBattle for Dundee/Tayside, which featured 3 rounds with more than 25 local acts competing.
So far in 2009, the band have played only a handfull of shows, but amongst these was an appearance the 02 academy in Liverpool.
The band are currently planning a short UK tour for the end of July, and are working on follow up material for the 2008 debut, "The Powerthirst EP"
A special 2009 edition of the ep will be available shortly with 2 extra tracks and new packaging.
