Duplex Gage influences

Duplex Gage
"Rock"
Duplex Gage are a well-established UK Rock band with an ever increasing fan base and a talent for writing thought-provoking lyrics with catchy melodies and rocking beats.

Influenced by both classic and current UK rock bands like U2, Queen, Placebo, Muse and Radiohead, Duplex Gage use an innovative combination of guitars, keyboards, drums and soaring vocal melodies to carry the listener to new musical dimensions. Never ones to just write a simple song, Duplex Gage create multi-layered textures which weave in and around an emotive lyrical theme.

Duplex Gage have headlined some of England's top venues including: London's Barfly, Camden Underworld, The Garage, Metro and the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool.

Highly praised on Internet Radio and well-known in places as far away as Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan, Duplex Gage are finally able to offer their debut CD "Bleeding On The Inside" to the American public.

best industry quotes

  1. Claire Dickinson, XFM Radio - Duplex Gage are a great band with a strong identity. They're not 'cool' in an obvious sense - the look is somewhere between bedroom goth and European rock codpiece - yet with the likes of Kerrang and MTV2 sniffing around, it can't be long before the infamous Duplex Gage are packing up their eyeliner and breaking out of a scene that they're already too big for.
  2. Liza Bignell, Xscape Promotions - I can’t say I disliked any of the material that was performed by the band and in fact 30mins was just not enough time.
  3. James Close, PANARTIST - This is traditional no frills metal with a powerful back bone and some well chosen power chords. Say Muse or a melodic Metallica. Whilst these influences are apparent, this is anything but retro. It is original and is causing a justified stir on the back of the British Nu-Rock craze...
