Devo are an influential and unique punk band formed in Ohio in 1973. Their finest moment came with their 1980 single 'Whip It', which charted at number 14 in the Billboard Hot 100. They have made eight studio albums and are making plans to record a ninth in 2009. Singer Mark Mothersbaugh is the symbol and leader of Devo, and along with Gerald Casale is the only ever-present member of the band.
