Hey there, we are Depths of Forever, or D.O.F; a band started by two inspired teenagers, K.R. and Aidan Blade, who wanted to make the dream come true. K.R. came up with the band name in early 2007 after himself and Blade finished their punk project "Synth Principle" as school kids. Blade described the name "Depths of Forever" to be a metaphor of "something that never ends", an thought it was fitting to their dreams of doing what they love in life rather than what society makes us believe we have to do in life.
The band formed in their late school years at St Edmund Arrowsmith in Whiston (where all bandmates attended), where they were driven to learn music and impassioned to create a sound like no other. Along the way their friend Kevin Phoenix was hired for vocals, and later on David was made bassist after the original bassist was dropped due to poor punctuality and determination. Tom was finally recruited when a string of drummers dropped out and he stepped in as the final and permanent member of D.O.F.
K.R., Blade, Kevin, David and Tom seek to bombard the world of music with various blends of hardcore riffs, solos, air-guitar-worthy lines, insane drum-playing and a variety of either influential, reality-based, poetically-twisted or you-be-the-f*cking-judge lyrics, ranging from genre to genre from the world of music.
