Deacon Blue is a Scottish pop/rock band fronted by singer/songwriter Ricky Ross. The band achieved chart success in the 80s and 90s with Real Gone Kid, Fergus Sings the Blues and Dignity. The band split in 1994 as drummer Dougie Vipond followed a career in TV. However the band reformed in 1999 on a part time basis. Despite guitarist Graeme Kelling passing away after a battle with cancer the band continues to make their catchy pop tunes.
