Computer Geek, Party Freak!
I started mixing the two some time ago
with positive responses from friends.
After years of ignoring plea after plea for me to go public and record an album I decided to try giving some CDs to DJs only and so far the response has been overwhelmingly positive.
CookieMel asked
"Do u spin on a laptop or on actual vinyls?"
I currently use a home PC.
I have not used vinyl for years since I retired from DJing mixing up to five decks back in the days of rave! Exhausting times!
Now all my mixing is done on the PC as the programs I use allow me greater control of my mixes without the exhaustion and fatigue I used to suffer.
The biggest plus for me is if the program will not do what I want I am able to rewrite the base code. So I always get the sound I want.
I am a CJ - Computer Jockey
or an EJ - Electronic Jockey
I would not describe what I do now as DJing
