Ciara Clifford is a singer, songwriter born in Dublin, raised in and living in London. Since headlining at the Clapham Grand as guitarist for rock band D’arcspire, she’s stepped back up to the mic and back into the studio to create ‘Made Your Bed’. Her debut Folk/Rock acoustic EP recorded last year. The last track on the EP, ‘In the night’, is featured in Octobers’ (2007) edition of Medium Magazine, the online arts publication. Accompanied by good friend and bass player/drummer, Mally, Ciara is currently gigging all over London and surrounding areas. Playing venues such as, the 12 bar Club, Filthy Mcnastys, Lock 17, The Comedy, The Troubador, Bullet Bar, Viva Viva, Hitchin Festival (2007) and many more. Now, with new edition to the band in the form of drummer, Iain Campbell the band are currently preparing for a 2008 tour of England and Ireland. Fans of Joni Mitchell and Tracy Chapman will love Ciara Cliffords soothing melodies, thoughtful lyrics and delicate guitar riffs. Glued together by a voice that is both feisty and angelic.
