When you are single music is your lover – when you are in a relationship with another, she, or he, becomes your mistress or misteress, your secret. An intense affair filled with all that that brings. ‘candytree’ began this journey with its current passengers in February 2008. We write songs, music, however you perceive it that should cause you to throw furniture in a fit of ecstatic abandon or reel you into moments of quiet euphoric contemplation. It should RELEASE you from any state of torpor in which you may – and only may – at times find yourself, hopelessly, helplessly, confined.
