Black Stone Cherry specialise in heavy southern rock, influenced by the likes of AC/DC and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Since forming in 2001, Black Stone Cherry gained strong local support in their home town of Edmonton, Kentucky, before signing to Roadrunner Records. They toured America and the UK, including support dates with Whitesnake and Def Leppard, then released their second album 'Folklore and Superstition' in 2008. BSC's most recent single, 'Blind Man', which is off their latest album, reached number 22 in the US Mainstrean rock Chart. The band consists of Chris Robertson, Ben Wells, Jon Lawhon and John Fred Young.
