Ben Folds started making music from a very young age when his father bought him his first piano. Some of Folds' early groups included Majosa, Pots and Pans and Jody's Power Bill, before he formed Ben Folds Five in 1994. The band was very successful and released four studio albums before splitting in 2000. Since then, Folds has released three albums and toured consistently. His most successful album to date is 'Songs For Silverman', which reached number thirteen on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2005.
