Alter The Manifesto started in October 2006 as a politically motivated punk band.

We are a three piece band based in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, and frequently gig around the Tyne & Wear area.

We recorded our debut ep "Strike a match, start a fire" in August 2007 at Base HQ studios in Newcastle.
