The Price Of Silence we formed in early 2004 and are a 3 piece rock band. After several line-up changes the band felt they had got it right...at last. The final line-up was put together in mid-2006 still as a 3 piece group just with everyone in different roles. Brothers Andy and Simon Whittaker on guitar and bass duties respectivley. Hitting the skins at the back they have Mike Mulligan who was discovered by Simon after a chat in a bar about the problems with line-ups. Mike jumped straight on board and fitted straight in with the group and something just clicked. After trying out with a few different vocalists the band settled on Simon taking on the job. The band originally started as a covers band but in mid-2007 they decided to start writing their own material.By December the band had 5 tracks and went into the studio to record their debut EP which is now finished and available at www.nimbitmusic.com/thepriceofsilence.
