The Hoosiers at T in the Park 2008
There are loads of indie-pop bands around that the moment, and The Hoosiers are the worst of the lot. Whiney, annoyingly happy, weak lyryiced nonsense from these pretty boy ponies is what i expected, and its exactly what I got. Ok, so they will get extensive play on Radio 1, mums will like them, small girls will like them, maybe even the indie kids will take a closet shine to them, but serious music fans? No. Worried about Ray? Whose Ray? As for Cops and Robbers, that has to be the weakest metaphor for chasing after a girl/a girl chasing after you, that has ever been committed to record. Shocking band, shockingly lifeless, dull and pathetic performance.
