The Formality are a popular unsigned band from Liverpool with heavy influences ranging from the Sheffield sensation: ‘Arctic Monkeys’ and the late, influential punk-rock group: ‘The Libertines’. The resulting sound is an intelligent and tuneful idie/rock guitar sound coupled with ironic, melodic and often comedic lyrics.
