The Feeling
"Giant-chorused pop music killer choruses"
The Feeling are pop and proud. They're reclaiming the term! The Feeling’s 5 members are between 25 and 27; and all have experience as session musicians on variety of recordings. the feeling at glasto 2008
i really don't get the fuss around these. fair enough they are not my cup of tea, but even when a band does not play music of your genre, you can usually say: 'yea they are at least giving it a go'. but they feeling's performance at glastonbury 2008 was so devoid of enthiusiasm, energy or any good songs, it made me seriously wonder why they had been chosen to play here. no. i take that back. i know why they were chosen - its because mums like them, cheesy pop fans like them and people who are not seriously into music but claim they like indie but really listen to marroon 5 claim the feeling are their favourite band. there songs are catchy at best - but the brit school lovey doveyness that doomedthe kooks shines through like a beacon and really ruins the band. very poor.
